Unit Merit Committee Structure

OOA Merit Award Committees are to be established as follows:

  1. MSP: These appraisals are reviewed centrally by OOA executives. Merit award recommendations are made to the vice chancellor-administration.

  2. PSS 1-7: These appraisals are reviewed within each unit (A&FS, HR&RM, Facilities and Central OOA) by MSP’s with supervisory responsibility. Merit award recommendations are made to the executive who oversees that unit.

  3. PSS A-E: These appraisals are reviewed within each unit by PSS 1-7 supervisors. Merit award recommendations are made to the appropriate senior staff member.

  4. Represented Staff: These appraisals generally are reviewed within each unit (depending on the size of the pool) by PSS 1-7 supervisors. Merit award recommendations are made to the appropriate senior staff member.
