Base line definitions describe three levels of performance. Departments have the flexibility to expand these performance level definitions to the degree that they better reflect characteristics and performance attributes specific to different work environments.
Performance Level # 1, Contributor:
Contribututes to the department mission; meets established goals and expectations.
Performance Level # 2, Significant Contributor:
Contributes to the department mission in various and noticeable ways; exceeds expectations
in several areas.
Performance Level # 3, High Achiever:
Serves as a role model in all aspects of job performance; has significant impact
in achieving the department mission in numerous areas.
