Guidelines for Vice Chancellor Recognition Awards

Purpose

The Vice Chancellor Recognition Award is designed to celebrate and show appreciation for an employee's exceptional contribution in supporting the campus community. The program's emphasis is on sharing examples of individuals or groups who actively exemplify what Office of Administration strives to achieve. By recognizing staff who, through their own personal effort have made significant contributions to our campus community, the Vice Chancellor reinforces the Office of Administration’s vision and values.

Guidelines

Awards are intended for employees whose actions best exemplify OOA's mission, vision and values. Award recipients are identified and selected by the Vice Chancellor’s office.

Recognition typically includes a certificate of appreciation and $75 gift card.

Funding

Funding in the amount of $5,000 has been allocated for this purpose from the Vice Chancellor's discretionary account, but may vary on an annual basis.
